    Swami Sachchidanand (22 April ), born as Nanalal Motilal Trivedi, is an Indian social reformer, philosopher, welfare activist, humanitarian, religious ascetic and writer from Gujarat, India.

    He was awarded the Narmad Suvarna Chandrak in and the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award, in by the Indian Government in the field of Literature and Education.[1][2]

    Life

    Swami Sachchidanand was born on 22 April in Moti Chandur village in Patan district of Gujarat, India.

    At the age of 21, he left home and after travelling all over India, in , he took the initiation of sanyasa to Swami Muktanandji 'Paramahansa' in Firozpur town of Punjab, India.[3] His purvashram name was Nanalal Motilal Trivedi.

    In , he received the degree of Vedantacharya from Varanasi Sanskrit University. In , he established Sri Bhakti Niketan Ash
