BRUNSWICK, GA. | “Burglar to the Stars” Blane David Nordahl pleaded guilty Tuesday to a 2013 silver theft on St.
Simons Island and was sentenced to 11 years in prison and nine years probation unless he leaves Georgia, the district attorney said.
The 55-year-0ld Nordahl pleaded to a charge of burglary in the first degree in the theft of a large quantity of silver from a residence in a gated community on St.
Simons Island.
Court records show that Nordahl stole silver from the St. Simons Island home of Bill Jones III. District Attorney Jackie Johnson said that FBI agents intercepted a FedEx shipment that included a unique silver charm bracelet that was taken in the burglary which Jones and his wife could identify.
The Joneses got back very little of their property, Johnson told the Times-Union.
